An Introduction to Patterns, Balance & Acupuncture
Hosted by Federica Mingotti, L.Ac. — a participatory evening in learning to read the whole system, not a needle demonstration.
with Federica Mingotti, L.Ac.

The body communicates before it demands attention. Acupuncture begins by learning how to listen.
This workshop is deliberately not a mirror of Understanding Your Skin at The Regenerative Studio. Where that program teaches the visible system — biology, behavior, and skin stewardship — this one teaches another way of observing yourself: signals, patterns, relationships, and regulation across time.
Federica is not primarily explaining needles. She is teaching participants to notice how sleep, digestion, temperature, tension, energy, and stress travel together — and how an acupuncturist begins looking for relationships among them rather than treating each complaint in isolation. You will leave with a simple pattern-mapping exercise and language for a steadier conversation with your own health.
Two seasonal gatherings at No.303 in downtown Richmond share the same 60-minute arc. RSVP below for Fall or Winter, share this page with hosts or community partners, and preview the participatory slide deck before you arrive.

The Body Keeps the Score
Bessel van der Kolk
Used selectively as background rather than making trauma discourse central to Ming’s positioning — embodiment without centering the practice on trauma branding.

Why We Sleep
Matthew Walker
Useful doorway into sleep and circadian health; individual claims should be checked against newer sleep literature before publishing patient handouts.
