Federica Mingotti is a nationally board-certified and Virginia-licensed acupuncturist at Ming Acupuncture—integrating Chinese medicine, herbalism, and bodywork for pain, pelvic health, digestion, and long-term vitality.
Federica Mingotti, L.Ac., LMT, is a nationally board-certified and Virginia state-licensed acupuncturist. She holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Lotus Professional College in Richmond, and a certificate in Cosmetic Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. She practices within the scope of her professional licensure through Ming Acupuncture, LLC.
A path that began with the whole person
Federica began her holistic-health path with naturopathic certification in Italy in 2013. She first explored food energetics in response to her own experiences with weight management, low energy, and headaches, then continued into massage therapy, acupuncture, and herbalism.
After a decade in the corporate world, she knows how chronic stress can quietly disconnect people from their own bodies. That lived experience shapes how she practices: with calm attention, clear listening, and care planned around what matters most to you.
What she focuses on in clinic
Her clinical interests include pain management, pelvic-floor concerns, and digestive-system imbalances. She uses a multimodal approach—acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, food energetics, and therapeutic bodywork—and helps patients understand possible conventional and traditional care options, seeking appropriate, proportionate interventions for the present condition.
- Pain and functional movement
- Pelvic-floor support alongside appropriate PT or specialty care
- Digestive health and food energetics
- Stress, sleep, and nervous-system regulation
- Fertility support within scope and collaborative referral when needed
Integrating tradition with contemporary understanding
Federica values integrating traditional practice with contemporary research and collaborative care when another provider is a better fit. She does not promise outcomes; she works to understand the whole picture, identify the present priority, and adapt as function improves.
Care designed around the person in front of us—traditional medicine with contemporary understanding.
